Are there still any money making techniques for runescape? Can you still give free money?

Not really. You cant give more than 3k every 15 minutes. There is a new PvP minigame in which you get all the things the opponant has. If you ask me there was no point in taking the wilderness away because it is exactly the same.

Since they made that update which doesn’t allow you to get more then 3000 gp /15 minits , they don’t sell money anymore , or if they do then not so much and sorry , but I have to say there is no way to get money without skilling or killing monsters …
I stopped playing because there is no wilderness anymore so my only hope to get money is gone.

long way: feed on the stupid new gamers offer them help on hard quest(just like a walkthrough)but first charge them first
short way:offer them help like through mazes and all those quest charge them money and run like hell or log out before they see your account name
experience plays a big role if you know how much an amulet of power,defence..etc….just offer newbies the amulet for high but not obvious prices….and do it again…just like buy and sell
real money:steal accounts from your friends but don’t let them know and sell it to your other friends from across town or something…steal and sell and steal again

man i remember trading a rune pick for free 2 some nub who wanted 1 (back then i could make 1 easy)
ya its true - only 3k per 15 minutes. as for money making….. the best way to make money and gain melee exp? easy said, kill dem cows for cowhides. sounds not cool, but i got full rune plus a wepon after getting 1.5k of cowhides!!!!!

Members - Kill Green Dragons (level-79) in level 19 through 24 Wilderness. Go to Varrock Wild and head north until you reach level 19 Wilderness. Collect dragon bones, green dragonhides, and other items. Go to the Grand Exchange sell the dragon bones for 2.5k each, the green dragonhides for 1.5k each, and the other items, which can vary anywhere from 400gp to 9k each.
Nonmembers - Kill Hill Giants (level-28) in the Edgeville Dungeon. It is west of Varrock, and you need a brass key to enter it. Collect the big bones, limpwurt roots, and other items. Go to the Grand Exchange and sell the big bones for 400gp each, limpwurt roots for 600gp each, and the other items, which can be anywhere from 20gp to 2k each.
Notes - Potions would be a great help, as would food, and if you are going to kill Green Dragons (level-79), bring an anti-dragon shield.
Cash Values
- Green Dragons (full inventory) - From 40 to 130k each trip.
- Hill Giants (full inventory) - From 7 to 15k each trip.
Both of these work very well, as they only take about 10 minutes or less to get a full inventory. Which can rack up anywhere from 240 to 780k in an hour (for members), and anywhere from 42 to 90k in an hour (for nonmembers).
