First go out and get a GreenDot credt card. Use that card to set up your paypal account - you must use a credit or debit card to set up a paypal account. Also use that card to setup your eBay sellers account.
Once they have use it to verify your account, use the rest of the money on the GreenDot card.
The reasoning. If you sell on eBay and the customer uses a stolen credit card (happens all the time) YOU are out the item and the $$.
Also customers LIE to eBay and say they did not receive the package and even if YOU have Confirmation that they received the package, PayPal will refund their money again leaving you without the item or the $$.
This way PayPal gets screwed and you do not.
I have 4 PayPal accounts setup this way, because this has happened to me more than once. I’ve been selling on eBay for 5 years. Also get a paypal depit card, this way as soon as your customer pays you you can go to the bank or any atm and remove the payment. Leave enough to pay your eBay fees only.
Do not attach your paypal account to your bank account unless you plan to close that account soon. It’s all about protecting yourself. PayPal and eBay ONLY care about the “Buyer” They will ***** you over if anything goes wrong.
